Born in Zimbabwe, Sandy leads the PwC Consulting practice for the pharmaceuticals industry in the UK. An IT professional by background, he focuses on helping major global companies design and deliver major change programmes. In doing so, he has led a large number of major assignments, covering strategy, business performance improvement and change management across the value chain and including the full systems lifecycle. He has worked on programmes for a wide range of major companies, primarily in the UK, Europe and the US.
He has been involved with the development and presentation of a number of thought leadership programmes in the pharmaceutical industry, including Pharma 2005 (PwC) Pharma 2005 Silicon Rally (PwC), Pharma 2010 (IBM), Pharma 2010 Silicon Rally (IBM) and most recently Pharma 2020 (PwC).
Sandy's involvement with S4S UK resulted from our partner organisation in Zimbabwe winning the Beyond Sport Award in 2010, which allowed PwC to become engaged in a supporting role, led by Sandy. That official partnership came to an end in February 2012 when Sandy was invited to stay on as an Advisory Board Member. He has continued his involvement with Beyond Sport and has since worked with three additional award winners.
