At the end of 2015 we ended our support to the organisation (Support for Socialisation Zimbabwe) that our Founder has built. The organisation in Mutare, Zimbabwe was managed by our international team complemented with the skills of a number of dedicated local staff, and ran succesfull community based rehabilitation programmes between 2008-2015. In 2015 the organisation was handed over to local Board and management. Although a transition period was scheduled, no transition of skills and information could actually take place due to the hositle attiudes towards our international team by the local Board and management. Our international team was forced to hand over equipment and office without being allowed to provide further support. Following that all the local staff, some of which worked with our team for almost 9 years, were fired on the spot. Because of mismanagement and an hositle environment all ties have been cut with the organisation in Mutare. Recently it came to our attention that they are now falsy using our identitiy, information and marketing materials. Be aware that they are in NO way affiliated with the S4S network, nor do they implement the programmes they promote on their digital media. For more information please contact us.
