S4S and Kings Volunteer join hands to develop new toolkit

S4S and Kings Volunteers (Botswana) have joined hands to develop a new toolkit for inclusive adapted physical activity. In the past 8 years S4S has become an expert in the area of ‚Äč‚Äčactivities which improve the position of children with disabilities in developing countries. Toolkits developed by S4S are used by a variety of organanisations for example the Ministry of Education in Zimbabwe.

This new toolkit will be distributed among the partners of Kings Volunteer in Southern Africa. S4S will train and assist Kings Volunteer staff and volunteers in the use of the toolkit, who subsequently will bing this toolkit to the attention of their partners. S4S will support these partners with the practical implementation.

With this toolkit soon hundreds of children with disabilities will become part of the communities they live in, and participate equally to to other children (as outlined in the CRPD article 30). By doing so we directly contribute to changing the perceptions regarding disabilities in Southern Africa!
